Default DynoPlex ViewAll, slight problem - 09-09-2007, 07:14 PM

hey guys

lemme get this straight, am i able to place pdf or doc files in their original form onto my local memory or sd card from my PC and THEN, open it using ViewAll?

if i am suppose to be able to do this, can someone please help because i am getting errors when i do try to open them using ViewAll

error messages:
for docs "Cannot Open Docment"
for pdf's "Cannot open native file. please use eFile Desktop for conversion"

I don't believe you can view native documents using eOffice. The documents must be converted by eOffice first. Therefore you can't just copy an Excel or Word document directly to a microSD card and open it on the BB.

i see now

so ViewAll can only read .eva files

the problem is i do not have a data plan so i cannot recieve emails with attachments to convert those files into .eva for ViewAll

is there another way around this? how can i convert pdf/doc/xls/ptt etc... into .eva files? is there a program i can use on my PC? or is there another way on my BB?
