Default Funny thing noticed about my BB 7520 - 06-01-2005, 04:50 PM

The past couple of days I have been trying to get QuickIM to work on my Nextel BB 7520 and have been unsuccessful until just a few minutes ago. I went into options and turned the firewall off and the app worked fine, which makes sense but also raises another question..... how important is it to have the firewall enabled? I mean are these phones easy to attack from the net? How many on here have the firewall enabled 24/7?

I turned mine off months ago so that my apps would work.

Mine has been off from day 1 (early March 2005) at the advice of this forum...no issues.
