I also use a Palm PDA which has a neat third party software called TextPlus. It allows you to save commoly typed words & phrases into a database and when you start a message or text entry, it pulls up choices for you to select w/o having to type the entire word.

Is there any software ad-on like this for the BB?

There is nothing I know of like that for the BB.

You can setup diferent autotext entries.

Options>Auto Text. Edit there with the menu key or get a BB with Suretype.

Firmware 4.3 may provide such a thing for some of the handhelds, but I'm not sure your model will have that firmware version any time soon.

i use autotext for just that. for my responses to customers.
