Default Message Alert 2.0 (61005) - Missed Call Alert

Please Login to Remove!

Running 4.2 OS on BB 8700c

Exactly how the does phone alert work?
I've tested two different scenarios, one works the other DOESN'T.

Scenario 1
Selected conditions for rules: ALL PHONE CALLS
Selected action SOUND/VIBRATE
Rule description REPEAT CONTINUOUSLY 1 MIN
Select type RING
Repeats 1
Volume LOW
Tune FUR ELISE
Active 24 HOURS
In this scenario the phone alert work flawlessly. I am notified as described in your literature My blackberry goes off every minute with the tune I've selected. HOWEVER:

Scenario 2
Everything is the SAME except "selected conditions for rules": used my name
I've called from my own number to test and I am not notified AT ALL OF THE MISSED CALL. For me the phone alert feature is only successful if ALL PHONE CALLS is selected which defeats my purpose for purchasing this product in the first place.

How can I fix this problem?

I would first recommend that you upgrade to version 2.1 (70606), which you can do from this link:

WebMessenger Inc. - Message Alerts for BlackBerry

You can upgrade OTA or desktop.

I've never used a previous version, so I can't help you there. I have it set up for individuals (I've never tried All Phone Calls) including myself to test it, and I seem to get reminders okay and get the option that you're looking for from your other post.
