Question finding directions to street address w/ 411 - 06-03-2005, 12:44 PM

I have mapquest in T-Zones, but find it cumbersome to use. Is there a faster way, using 411 or other *free* app, to just type in an address and get the directions?

Thanks!!!

I asked that same question on a different thread and the answer I got there was "not on 411." Apparently the only way to get directions in 411 is by using yellow pages to locate the address for a business and then to select "directions." The same function doesn't exist in white pages.

I don't know if there's another application that does this.

yes, I have also experienced the same problems .. find it too cumbersome to use .. if there is an app which solves the purpose, I am ready to pay for it ..

Directions to an address are possible in Berry 411. Just enter the address, city, and two letter state code, separated by commas, and select yellow pages. I recently fixed a bug in which the state had to be in all caps.

For example:
206 1st Ave S, seattle, WA
