Hello, I've been using the Ramble IM client for about 2 weeks now and have not had a problem with it until tonight. Now when I log in I get the following error message:
"Login Failed! Reason unknown. Error code: 989."
I'm using a Nextel BB 7520 with the latest BB OS from blackberry.com. Anyone ever run into this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
One last thought, all of the other internet apps work fine, just Ramble does not connect. I'm also using a direct tcp connection not the MDS.

well crud... nevermind this post... I just logged into AIM on Windows and it said I had 3 other sessions signed on... disconnected all other sessions and my blackberry finally signed in
R Lee, I have given this entire issue deep thought coupled with rest then more deep thought and based on my years of technical experience and information gained in your second post Error code: 989 must mean there is a previous session in use.
No need to thank me, I provided this information free of charge... Now to solve world hunger or how to keep the bowls from flipping over in the dishwasher???
Hi I am Alan Donaldosn. I am deaf. I have 8700c blackberry from cingular. ramble im was worked for long time til today it shut off. I wonder what is going on ? I need it ramble im on my 9700c back asap. I need it for use relay service to call my wife.
