Question Looking for a program like BBalerts.. - 10-10-2007, 11:34 PM

That will give me repeating alerts on calendar events, as well an ToDoMatrix alerts. I work in a fast paced and often noisy environment and often don't get to grab my phone and check when the alerts happen-I need something that will keep nagging until I have a look!
So far as I can tell BBalerts does a pretty good job, but only for missed calls/voicemail/email. If I'm mistaken, let me know and I'll give it a try.

Alternatively-does anyone know of anything that would do what I'm after?

Any ideas appreciated. (I almost forgot today was my day to pick the kids up from school )
Cheers!

I love BB alerts, been using it for sometime now. You can change the settings for the frequency of alerts. I think the only flaw is the alert for voicemail, its not always accurate at least in my case, otherwise I use it daily

BBAlerts is one of a kind as far as i know... Write the developer and make your suggestion, he is around here sometime, and has a thread in AFtermarket Software for inquiries... BBMel I believe.

Good luck>

Well, for the $12.95, I thought I'd give 'er a try..works as advertised-quite well actually, but as I suspected, does not support other alerts.

How about this-is there any way I can trigger an email to be sent to my blackberry.net address (automatically) at a certain time of day that I preset?
Ideally that I can set to re-occur each Tuesday and Thursday at say 3:05 pm? That in conjunction with my new BBalerts would get the job done!

I looked quick in Gmail and Outlook and don't see a "send email from calendar at a specified time/date" button. Strange.

Any ideas welcome!!

Wait a minute..I did find a email alert setting in Google calendar from Gmail-I'll set it up and try tomorrow and advise how it goes.

** update**
Yup-it works.
You can set (multiple if you like) email reminders in Google calendar, and BBalerts does it's part by giving you the repeating alerts at the interval you've set.

There may be a better way, but I haven't been able to find it, and this seems like it'll work fine.

Cheers!
