Default Yahoo Messenger question

Please Login to Remove!

I have downloaded yahoo messenger onto my 8300. When I try to sign in I get a message "Go to blackberry.com/go/yahoo" to activate your handheld for yahoo messenger" I go to the site but find nothing that would appear to relate to activating.

Do you have a yahoo username and password?

I also do not see the 8300 listed below.

Or just get JiveTalk. I deleted all the preloaded (free) IM apps from my new 8320 and just installed JiveTalk. One app, will all logins in the same place. Superb app!

I agree. I did find it curious that the 8300 was not listed.

Do you have an sms plan? Those IM apps use sms for the IM's.
