I have a new 7100t and just downloaded a freeware calculator to my desktop pc. Can any one tell me how to get it onto my 7100t?

You have to unzip the file then Boot your DM. Under Application Loader, select add. Find the file you want to add. Application loader will only show files that are in .ALX format. Select the file and finish the process by following the prompts

Where did you get the free calculator? Was there any other free stuff there?

Default Thanks - 06-10-2005, 07:48 AM

The free calculator came from http://www.tucows.com/preview/132634, I have been using a Palm for about 5 years, then a treo 270 for about 2 years and I guess I am spoilled as 2 calculators came with the treo. I am very dissappointed in how complicated the BB is to use and how few downloads there are for it. The keyboard on the treo is so much easier to use as the layout is the same as the layout on my pc.

I will try the above to get it on my bb but first need to know what is a "DM".

Thanks.

DM = Desktop Manager should be on the CD that came with your BlackBerry. The same software is also downloadable from tmobile or blackberry's website.
