All,

I have a questions regarding the DST Patch that Blackberry release on October 3rd 2007. If someone had the DST patch loaded back in March of 2007, will they have to load this new patch? I know Microsoft re-released a new patch for windows to correct November. Does anyone know if this patch from Blackberry is different? I cannot find anything on Blackberry.com to tell me so.

Thank you in advance to all who read, research and respond.

Based on the text on RIM's site, if you have already loaded the patch (or have software on your device that does not need to be patched) you are fine.

Update as of October 3, 2007 Please note that if you have already downloaded the North American DST 2007 patch for your BlackBerry device, no further updates are necessary for the Daylight Savings Time change in November 2007 for North America.

You answered my question.
I had removed the patch on my 8830 model because it was stated that I didn't need it. We will soon find out.
