Hello,
I have a 8703E verizon BB. The blackberry was recently wiped and reloaded for a new individual. Doing my normal check of the blackberry includes using my DM to update the O/S via the Application loader.
However, upon plugging the BB in, the DM does not see the device. I go to connection settings and attempt to "Detect" the device and it brings back a "No Device Found" box. Plugged in via the USB, windows does not have it showing up either; however, when it plugs in it is showing that it is charging.
I'm thinking a physical problem with the USB port on the device (I've checked to see if it would recognize on another PC with known good software). I just want to check to see if maybe I'm missing something software/hardware wise before I inform this guy he needs to get started with repair/replacement.
Any suggestions?
