NEW to BB couple questions

hey whats up I just got a 7210 for free and new the the whole BB scene and just had some general ?'s about it. first off its locked and I wanna unlock it but screw paying for it All my other phones I've unlocked with just the data cable. so is there a way to unlock it with a data cable? also what software is there to use to add ringers, games, ect. to the device? any help greatly appreciated thanks.

If it's a TMobile device and you are a customer in good standing with Tmobile they will unlock it for you for free (if it's not too old--which it very well may be.) If they can't unlock it then you will have to pay to have it unlocked. The BB is not like any other phone you've had.
