Is the Nextel Blackberry 7520 able to be unlocked for another carrier such as Telus and their Mike network? If you know of any good unlocking sources please let me know. Thanks

I don't believe so, but how about checking with one of the unlocking vendors?

What would you do with it once you unlock it? It won't work on any other networks except Nextel. No point in unlocking it.

i want to unlock it so i can use it on the telus/mike network. it is currently on the nextel network.

Yes it can be unlocked just like any other BB, but you have to stick with iDen networks as stated before. Some users unlocked them for the Boost network, although I do not see much of a point there as you can't get BB services from Boost.

Anyways, here's a site that has it for $25. GSM phone source will also do it for $60.
