Hi ive got an :bb: 7100v and ive read that you can update the operating system to send and rescive messages. Is this true if it is can somebody please send me a link too a website from where i can download it. Thanks

What kind of messaging? It will do email as it is.

The 7100v does texting out of the box. All you need is a SIM card with a voice plan on it. No upgrade required.
