Automatically deleting SMS

Good afternoon guys,

I have experienced the automatic deletion of SMS from the devise within 24 hrs. period, while I set it to keep messages in 30 days.I am aware that if the memory is full, messages will be deleted, but in this case there is still about 2 million bytes free. Does somebody has the same experience? What did you do?

Pull the battery and free up some of that memory.
