Sprint 8830 won't play .wmv video

This site says that Windows Media Video (.wmv) is supported in Blackberry Device Software 4.2.1 only. Does this mean it isn't supported in later versions (I have 4.2.2.123 - presumably later) ?

No. Once it's supported it should be supported in all versions created after it. If this is encoded for Windows Media player 11, that might be the problem.
I think it may only work with Windows Media Player 10 files and its codecs.

I'm unsure as I'm not a multimedia guy.
