Hi everyone!

I've had my BB8700g 1 year and 3 months...never breaks (knock on wood). (my previous pager was a POS sidekick 2 which within a year...replaced 9 times!

Anyway...

When outdoors....I noticed the glass on my BB...when I wipe it...the "dust" is actually underneth the glass...wondering if there's a way to remove it and clean it then put it back?

Thanks!
Thomas

There are lots of disassembly threads/info out there. Here is one we have here:

8700 Disassembly - BlackBerryFAQ (http://blackberryfaq.com/index.php/8700_Disassembly)

However, if your 8700 is working fine I would be hesitant to disassemble it just to clean out a little dust. If you're good at taking things apart then I realize it can be all about the quest. Good luck!

You would have to take it apart.

To take it apart checkout 8700 Disassembly - BlackBerryFAQ (http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/8700_Disassembly)

Thanks John! I'll go over there and see if I can do it or not.

Have a great day!

Let it just be.
Once u disassambly it, there will be more dust easily in the future days.
Disassambly... Don't recommand.

Disassembly is very easy and if you do it right there will not "be more dust easily in the future days".

Some people care, some people don't, if you do read up on how to do it, take your time and all will be well.
