Well, im getting a curve for myself on wednesday, and all the networks have good coverage in my home area, and in the area i go to uni.

As i said, i am in the UK and will be using the curve for the following:
sending email from my gmail address
sending IMs through windows live(msn)
sending texts
making the occassional call
i dont need to download huge files, but i would like to be able to browse the internet occasionally

i was wondering if someone could suggest a network, and also any extra things i might need (im new to all this phone stuff!)

also - does the curve have a space for a little phone charm to be put on it?

cheers to all!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Since coverage is not an issue you could now move on to researching prices for plans. Whichever one gives you the best price I might recommend. Also ask some of your friends about their customer service experiences with the different carriers.

go for o2, as they support edge, if u browse the net now and then this will be handy as browsing speeds are increased.

i heard that o2 charge you by the mb for browsing, even if you have a data plan. is this true?

I'd go with O2.

I'm with Orange and their data plans are not good, I would recommend O2 or Vodafone.

o2 definately. I'm on the unlimited data plan, but if you are taking a text and call plan you can get unlimited data added on for an extra £7.50 per month.
