Is there a way to set up monthly alerts to be the first Tuesday of every month or the first Wednesday etc

Set it up in Outlook and then sync it to your phone. That's what I do.

yep I have used allot of feature alarm and appt. in outlook and synced fine:)

I set things like this up as a task on my phone and use the recurring setting.
