That's unfortunate; I'm already on my second cup! j/k

In your BB internet browser, go to Options > Browser Configuration; you should see "Support JavaScript" as the first selectable option. If this is selected, you both have Java, and have it enabled.

If you use OperaMini 4, it is a Java web browser. I HIGHLY recommend trying it (it's free!)

If you go to this address via your BB browser, you can download it OTA.

Opera Mini is THE best browser I have used..I suggest you give it a try.

Just want to make sure we're thinking the same thing.

JavaScript in the BB browser is NOT Java. Nor is what OperaMini provides "Java."

You can prove this by trying either the BB Browser or OperaMini to access a web site that contains a Java applet. JDK 1.4 Demo Applets (http://java.sun.com/applets/jdk/1.4/index.html) is one such page that points you to such things. They don't work (at least for me) in either browser.

Java refers to the "language" or "operating environment" for applications. Blackberry applications are written in Java.

Why are you asking? Are you trying to do something and were told you needed "Java"?
