Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

I own my own blackberry and my company pays for the BES service on their own server. I send many personal text messages and only use Gmail app for my personal messages. I strictly use the company email for only bussines correspondence. Is my personal information accessible to my employer? No reason to worry but would like to know of any potential exposure. Thanks

Yes your personal information such as SMS can be logged by the BES Admn, it all depends on your company policy.

In addidtion, phone calls (number dialed and minutes) can be logged.

You would be wise to assume that everything you do on your Blackberry (since it's connected to your company BES) can be tracked by your employer.

Your best bet would be to have them provide you with a Blackberry and separate personal from work.
