All of a sudden, when I hold the 1 key to access voicemail, I get a readout "invalid phone number".

HOW CAN I FIX THIS????

1/ Try a Hard reset. [ :alt: :cap: :del: ]

2/ Hard pressing the "1" invokes the "w" speed dial.
Create or Edit an entry for MessageBank or Voicemail in Contacts to be the correct number to dial
Phone => (wheel)View Speed Dial List => (scroll to "w") => (wheel)Edit or New Speed Dial => [select your Voicemail contact] =>
(wheel)Add Speed Dial To "MessageBank/Voicemail"

Also check is that "dial from home screen" is set to yes in general options.

Does the ALT-CAP-DEL work for a 7100? I've never been able to get it to work.

:alt: :cap: :del: is not a feature with current handheld OS for the 7100.
You’ll have to make a game of flipping the battery.

Thanks! I just set speed dial "1" to the voicemail number. I have no clue as to why I didnt do that before.

really strange. the voicemail is set to dial the new number on the BB 7510. i checked it in the phone options and under the speed dial options. yet when i hold down the 1 key it dials the phones old number, which now belongs to someone else. i did a radio reset and a hard reset. dont know what else to try

it is the same thing that nextel told me to do. its the only number that will work on this phone. any other, and it defaults back to my old number....still wierd.
