strange symbol on screen

Good day to all,

My BB has a strange symbol showing on the screen, and for the life of me I can't get rid of it. I don't even know what it is for.

It is a blue 1 with a globe next to it. My wife was messing with it, and now I have this symbol I can't remove.

Any ideas??

It's a Browser Push Message.
You might want to check your browser bookmarks for a new Browser Channel.

OK, but how do I get rid of it? I don't have any bookmarks except for the default BB Help and Homepage.

Ask your wife what she did.
Maybe it's a push weather channel? Do you have a new icon on your BlackBerry for weather, or something else that you don't recognize?

Maybe try a battery pull?

It was a message in my outbox for something. Deleted it and problem solved.
