How do I update my 8830 with a new update if it is an exe file that works on a pc and I use a Mac?

I tried to browser to the sprint exe file and it didnt like that and stopped.

I guess I could go to a sprint store to do the upgrade on their pc I guess...

For OS upgrades, you must use a PC, with Desktop Manager loaded. Use a friend's it is harmless to the PC.

well they can actually, but I would have to load XP on my machine first.. Thats a lot just to update my BB os!

btw, thanks for the help JSanders! I will use the wifes I guess. I was hoping I could just browser to it....
