If you are using a BES in an MS Exchange environment and want to have admin priviledges to the BES do you also need to have admin access to the Exchange servers?

If so are there any tools available to administer the BES without having Exchange Admin rights?

The service account (usually besadmin) that you install and run BES under needs view only admin priv's to the info store in exchange, as well as send as and receive as in the info store.

I would imagine as long as you create a seperate domain user and give that user the proper MAPI config on the bes server you could have a different user other than besadmin manage the bes server. Nothing I have ever really wanted to do.
