Help with hotmail

Hi everybody!

I´m a new Blackberry Curve owner and I´m driving crazy trying to set up a Hotmail account on it. I don´t know how to do it. Could you please help me??

Welcome to the BBForums.

Maria, if it is a new Hotmail account, Microsoft won't allow Hotmail to a BlackBerry. MS will require you to upgrade to a Hotmail Plus account.

Some old Hotmail accounts were grandfathered in to allow, but ones created in the last couple of years.

How can you tell if you are one of the grandfathered in accounts? Is there a way to tell or will it just work when you attempt to set it up?

I understand from reading here, it will just work, and most just do not.
It's a very vague matter, yes.
