Hi,

I was wondering what Bluetooth car kits have been tested and known to work seamlessly with the BlackBerry 7100R. This is for some of my coworkers. The old Motorola HFW8000 that one user has installed needs to have Bluetooth disconnected/reconnected on the BlackBerry to get the audio going through the car speakers.

We're interested in possibly the Motorola IHF1000 and HF850 series. I've e-mailed Robert from SmartPhoneDepot, and he mentions that there is a disconnection issue with the IHF1000, but it may be due to some encryption mode.

Has anyone here tested the Motorola IHF1000 or HF850 with a BlackBerry 7100? What were the results? Are there any other car kits (we've also looked into the Parrot CK3100) that you suggest?

Thanks.

I've got problems with CK-7W, at firmware 3.8 connects but then disconnects immediately and the bluetooth services available are unknown. At Firmware 4.00, stays connected and works sporadically, fine around 50% of the time which I find really strange, I'd expect it to work all the time or none of the time, it's not the handset as I've replicated problem with 3 different ones

Has anybody tried using the Sony Ericsson HCB-300 car kit with a 7100?
