Ok I have been all over this website and I have not been able to figure out anything!! So me let just ask some questions!
1) Can I view HTML websites on my 7520 with Nextel service? If so How? I downloaded Reqwirelessweb and it says I need to wait a few days! Was I supposed to order something from nextel to make this work or change the settings in my tcp? Or just install it and wait!
2) What is APN in TCP? I do not have a enterpise server, atleast if I do I dont know what it is or why I need it!!
3) I would assume I can not use my 7520 as a modem, I saw that nextel has not been succesful so this is really a confirmation not really a question!
4)Ramble does not login says there is a DNS error is that related to my TCPor APN?

I do have full internet and email on my BB but not sure what all I can do with it! It is slow! but I am going to follow the things I found on this forum to try and speed it up!

I would be thrilled beyond belief if I could browse forums like this on my BB!!

Thanks in advance for any help have a great BB day!!!

Robi

I have had it for about 3 months!
Does HTML mean you can view the webpages like you would in Internet Explorer? Mine is Text only with no format just text!

you should see a new icon a globe with an arrow and people. Pull Battery Out Hold Power button down for full three minutes. then replace battery. If it doesnt come up then go to service books and delete all service books then go to BWC and resend your service books.

Technically, the time is supposed to just be 10 seconds...

Hey folks!

Well I want to first ask why you are not using the Ramble software?
Runs great on my 7520! I did update my Blackberry with 4.0 and the latest Blackberry Deskmanager. It works well with both of my ID's. Granted I have to login to one and out to view the two but no complaints here.

As a Rep you can shoot any questions you might have. I'll try me best to answer. I had the same problem with my Blackberry and had to call Nextel Care to get things straightened out. They may not have the HTML browser feature enabled on thier end so that you do not have the option to send your Internet Book. I also went ahead and re-sent my Service book to.

On a seperate note and I know it probably belongs in another forum, but I was able to get Avantgo to successfully work on the BB7520. (You will need the new web browser to do this though, so get this working first.)

make sure you have your internet book in your Webclient. If you dont' then you need to contact Nextel Care. They may have you setup as email only.

Most who do the upgrade with in a few minutes have the new browser so you may need to contact Nextel.

Thanks Dawg. Why do you say don't use Ramble?

Ramble works fine for me. The price is right also. While I do admit it is a little buggy, and extended use causes the BB to lockup every once in a while, I can't justify paying for verichat when all I use is AIM.

I have only had the program lockup twice.

Dawg

I dont use ramble becuase it only supports Aim and I dont use Aim

Not going to pay $35 for Verichat when I have AIM and YChat for free.
True I have to use YChat under Portals but hey it works ok enough for me.

Hello again.

So we have the Globe. Re-send the Internet Service book.
Also the regular service book.

Hopefully Nextel CS can get things straightened out.

no just the same questions are being asked over and over and people get tired of answering them. This particular question has about six different threads
