Can't figure this one out, embedded links

Used to be when I received an SMS with an embedded link it, I could click on that link and my browser would open up and take me to whatever site the link was to, but all of a sudden links come across as just plain text. I don't know what I did to change this, but I would like to change it back. 8703e.

I could be wrong, but I thought SMS only allowed text, not html or embedded links.

Up until recently it did. What it is is one of those free ringtone sites, and it would send me a message with a link in it, i would simply click on the link and it would take me to the site to download whatever ringtone I had sent myself. Then suddenly one day it started sending plain text only
