View Full Version : HELP! my bberry went dead!!

Ok, so I pulled it out of my purse and it's off and I can't turn it on :( !!! Sooooo frustrating because I'm travelling!

The power button won't turn on. My comp. doesn't recognize it when I hook it up to the usb. The light in the top right hand corner of the blackberry is flashing (red...which can't be good I'm sure) a beat like: flash (pause), flash, flash, flash. over and over again.

Any ideas?!?!

Somebody puhleeze help me!!!!

Have you tried popping out the battery and putting it back in?

The fact that you still have a flashing light of sorts could be a good thing, I had the same issue with my 7780. It seems there is still some activity or power cycling through the device. Like NJ said pull the battery and let it sit for a min or two in hopes it will power cycle upon re-seating the battery. Do you happen to have a wall charger to plug the BB into or just the USB sync cable. You'll get a stronger current/charge from the wall adapter.
