i recently bought a Unlocked BB 8800 through tmobile off ebay, with no phone number or sim card on the phone yet

i installed the blackberry desktop manager program which came with the phone

when i try to use the application loader, it begins to install and then i get the error message

"The blackberry desktop software does not have blackberry device software for the device that you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator"

i am able to add media, as i have added a couple of songs, also, is there any way to add songs over 3000 kbs???

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

See http://blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Application_Loader_Error on your first question.
