Hey guys,

I have an email account that uses the SAME incoming email server address for both POP and IMAP. So even if I tried to manually configure it to use IMAP on BIS, I won't know whether the BIS will retrieve the mails via POP or IMAP. Since BIS email set up does not let you specify whether to use POP or IMAP when entering server info, how am I supposed to force an account to use IMAP instead of POP?

e.g. Gmail setup can be done with imap.gmail.com server address since that is the one that we use for IMAP access instead of POP... but my specific email account in question does not have different incoming server addresses and I can't disable POP on the server :(

Thanks,

Sean

Did you try using the pop server in bis? Imap is just a protocal and most isp's have imap enabled on pop servers.
