message services

Hi,
i have my 7290 but i can't send e-mail or SMS.
To send SMS don't even appear the option compose SMS.
In e-mail it show the message You have no message services.

Can you guys help me?

Does your carrier support SMS, and do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan with your carrier for email services?

In portugal all host supports SMS.it's the most common and used service here.
I don't have any e-mail plan but that's not important.SMS service it's important
