Greetings all
I have both a 7290 and a CURVE
Problem
I am unable to send emails to work from the CURVE, but the same setup on the 7290 goes through just fine. I use IronMail protection at work and after a week worth of investigating with Blackberry we figured out that the “return-path” on the emails from the
CURVE look like this sfaker@<hidden>
while the return-path on the
7290 looks like <srs0=lviblx=sp=mydomain.com=sfaker@<hidden>>

IronMail sees the CURVE as “spoofing” the email address and thus flags it as spam and does not let us go through.
There are no differences in the way I setup the Perl or the 7290. I have re-entered the information a dozen times and have restarted the devices numerous times as well. The setup on both devices appears identical.

As of right now Blackberry has no clue what this is…. Any ideas?

They are both on T-Mobile and they are both on BES.
I am able to receive email on both devices and I have other accounts setup on both devices, such as Google, and I am able to send a receive email on the Perl as long as I don’t send it to the work address.

All the best
Jay
