I have two questions for Model 8830 that I couldn't figure it out.

1) How to make 3-Way or conference call

2) How to save incoming phone numbers in an existing record. When I tried to save the phone number from an incoming call it took me directly to new contact in an address box, and from there was no option to look it up an existing contact.

Thanks

While on the first call, press menu > hold > menu > new call. Place the new call. Once they answer, press menu > join. All done.

Second question: Go to the number you want to save, press menu > copy ##########. Then go into your address book, find the person you want to add it to and edit their info. Then go to where you want to place the number, press menu > paste.

You actually dont have to put the caller on hold. You can just hit Menu> conference call> Select the # from your address book or dial in the # > press talk to connect callers. Saves a step or two.

While on the phone, if I press menu, there is no 'conference call' option. Just 'end call', 'mute', and 'hold'.

Yea that is a known issue with the blackberry 8830 putting the other on hold is the only option and even that has been known to not work properly.

So, on the 8830 there is a conference option??? Because on the 8820 there isn't.

Yes there is a conference call option on the 8830. I assumed the other 8800s had the same option. It does save a little time.
