I have a user who is having problems with his 7100g
He first came to me because his BB wouldnt sync and he was having email issues.
Yesterday the phone synced without a problem (originally it would cause the computer to freeze)
He still had no email access

Today it flip flopped he could receive emails but the syncing issue returned.

When I was looking at the device yesterday I tried to run the Enterprise Activation and it wouldnt complete it with full signal. Any thoughts?

I'm assuming you are on a BES? Have you look at the logs? When we've had issues like that, it's been related to the BES server not having enough rights to the user's mail file, etc.

I havent yet but I will do that today and see if it helps thanks a lot.

Ok here it is, his email issue seems to be fixed the sync problem is still there. When he connects the device to his laptop both the device and the blackberry desktop software freeze up.

He is also running v4.0.0.xx
