Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Looks like an 8700 series BB

Pull back off remove battery you will see slot for Sim

yep definately 8700C, released by Cingular (now "The new AT&T). Livelink - Redirection (http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe?func=ll&objId=1140089&objAction=browse&sort=name) is the documentation

Yes - appreciate your help here...

..but HOW do you 'remove' the back for battery and sim?...

There's no manual that 'shows' pictures of the phone on how to do just this!

..we're having difficulty - thanks again!

Take it to an ATT Corp store. They can show you how.

the bottom part of the device on the back has a small cutout "button" press that to slide the back off.

Thanks - we got the back off....

It IS definately a 8700c - per the inside label...

The battery is a C-S2 with a pic of a lock on it....

Q: It seems our Motorola RZR AC plugin charger fits into it...
..and shows a pic of a battery on the front with a blue flash in the middle...

That mean it CAN be recharged via the different AC plugin?...

..and where does any SIM CARD fit into? (if one does use one!)

Thx again
