Slow 7130e

My 7130e is running slow. Not necessarily just the Blackberry internet service but when running apps as well. Sometime if I am just scrolling through the icons on the home screen it will just lock and show the hour glass for a minute or so then continue on. Any suggestions? Also some games tend to run slow as well, especially playing Golden Tee. The load times are forever long. Any help at all would be great.

Pull the battery while powered on, hold a few seconds, and replace to reboot.

That normally helps tremendously.

Yea I have had to do that quite a few times. It seems to help for a bit then continues to run slow again after awhile.

If the battery pull seems to help it you may want to do some housecleaning and free up some memory. Lack of memory usually presents as slowness. Looks for large attachements, etc.

Clean some up do a battery pull to reclaim the space and see if things go better!

Cleared out a bunch of apps I never used, and languages. Went ahead and cleared the phone call logs and old texts messages and email. These usally always stay clear as well as the browser cache and cookies. Still seems to be running slow. Maybe I will have to wipe it and start over.....

Did you hard reset after deleting things?

^^ what Thatz said. Give it a couple days now, if you have pulled the battery to reboot. If in a few days you are still slow, reload the OS.
