Hello, this looks like a great resource.

Problem:
I upgraded to an 8310 from an 7100. I did a backup onto my laptop (not a sync) with the latest BB software that was shipped with my new BB. I then restored onto the 8310 and the address book came across and appears to be ok. (Everything else is perfect BTW). When I view a number in the address book it is fine, but when I go to call it, a 1 appears at the beginning.

E.G. +23987654321 becomes +1023987654321

I think this may have something to do with location but I've checked under options > Date/Time and I'm in the correct time zone. Language is also set to English (UK)

Help  please

this is an easy fix. on the home screen press the green call button and it should bring you to your call log screen. next press the blackberry button and go to options. next go smart dialing and this is where you make the changes to how your phone dials. :)
