File Free amount

What's an ideal amount of File Free on a BB 8830? User has Facebook, etc, installed; their file free is now about 9MB. However, they lost their old e-mail, call logs, etc, the other day. Not sure what the free memory was before the Blackberry cleaned house.

Anyway, is 8-9MB enough?

Has the user run the device setup wizard and removed all the unused languages? your goal should be 15+mb. follow the links at the top of the general blackberry discussion to free up more memory.

No, free file should be in upwards of 15-20 MB. There are numerous threads on this very issue and how to free up memory.

Echo that from an 8830 user. Try to double the amount free, and keep it there.

I have 34.4 free but have got rid of everything including PTT on my 8820. Never have had the first problem. So many install software they never use.
