Calendar icon on lock, but not after unlock

I am having a problem that is described in these posts:

I have not been able to solve it though.

The Problem:
I have my blackberry automatically lock when it goes into my holster. So When I take it out the "Nextel" screen is up and I need to enter my password. On this screen it shows that I have 10 calandar reminders (calander picture with a number 10 next to it)

When I unlock the blackberry it does not show that icon anymore. this has been going on for about a week now. When a reminder is supposed to come up the phone vibrates (this is what it is supposed to do), but the calander item never comes up.

I have tried doing a master radio reset, I have synched it with my computer again, I have tried to see if the message reminders were running in the background, but no luck.

I really don't want to have to wipe the handheld and re-sync

* version: v4.1.0.380
* carrier: nextel
* not using BES
* 211 calendar items in blackberry
* synching with outlook 2003 sp3
* BDM v4.3.0.15

i had the same problem. I turned off my blackberry, took the battery out and waited 1 minute. Then put my battery back in and turned it on. The reminders on the lock mode have now disappeared. Still working on why my reminders dont pop up though.

very frustrating!!
