Need help with my volume

Does anyone know how to adjust the volume of the ring while it is ringing? The only thing I can find to adjust the volume is in profiles. Ya know how you forget to turn your ringer down and then just when you don't want it to ring it does, and Loud:oops: ? Is there a shortcut key to quickly lower the volume. Seems pretty basic, so I'm sure there is and I just can't find it.

Yes, the volume up and down keys on the right hand side of the BB...

OR, the mute key at the top left of the BB.

Of course, I knew it must be something basic. Thank you. How about changing the volume of the ring in profiles. There seems to be dead quiet or blasting loud...is there anyway to adjust the volume, like on a 1 to 10 scale like on some phones?

When you look in Profile, advanced and edit your active profile, say for the Phone alerts... you will see a "Volume" setting from which you can choose Mute, Low, Medium, High and Escalating.
