Which blackberry's support 3G. I'm on AT&T with a 8100 and it only seems to support EDGE. According to their coverage map I'm in a 3G area. Anyone know the scoop. Thanks

To my understanding, there are currently no Blackberry devices that support 3G on GSM networks. They currently only support EDGE. On the CDMA networks, however (like Verizon and Sprint) there are devices that support EV-DO.

EV-DO is a form of 3G.

The BlackBerry 8707 is a 3G/UMTS phone, on the 2100MHz frequency:

Unfortunately it's no longer available in most markets though...

There are currently no US GSM BBs on 3G. A 3G model is rumored to come out sometime this year however. As mentioned above, both Sprint and Verizon have EV-DO devices with are CDMA and 3G.

There are some European 3G Blackberries, such as the 8707 series, but they operate on different frequency bands and are only GPRS capable here in the US.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully the rumored 9000 series will be when it comes out.
