how to remove the carrier info ??

Hi guys ... i have a 8700 i bought from ebay.. i want to remove all the carrier info from the device... I have done the software version upgrade but it didnt remove anything. Can it be done ?

If you are referring the what flashes on the screen upon boot there is nothing you can do to remove this. It is flashed into memory when the device is created. It stays, end of story.
