Sprint 8830 power cycles when wall charging

I'm a new user, and I hope this is the right forum for this question.

I just got my 8830, and it's my first BB so this may be normal behavior and I just don't know better. When I plug my bb into the supplied wall charger, sometimes it just charges, but eventually it starts turning off and on. I get the Hour glass screen, and it pretty much stays there. When I charge it off of my PC I have no issues.

I did take the charger into a sprint store, and it didn't have the problem while I was there. So they of course did nothing. When I plug it into a Motorolla USB wall charger I do not have this problem.

Anyone have any ideas?

I has this issue until i got it replaced last december

I would contact Sprint and ask if they can send you an update.
Technical support should be able ot help you.

I had that issue also but once they gave me an update everything went fine.
I would also suggest to pull the battery for a couple mins. and then place it back it. Mine happens during car charging.

This is not the first i've heard of this.

Either your charger is bad, or your device.

Just try to narrow it down.
