i know there has to be a way around this, im trying to use a unicel SIM and my brothers worked in a motorola slvr from an old cingular user...so idk...some help? could i call unicel and they do it for free?

Network Active means it is locked.

There are no hacks or crap for the BlackBerry. Sorry. It's not a Moto.

The only one who will unlock it for free is the original carrier.

Contact one of the commercial unlockers. GSMPhoneSource.com is one.

I'd ask around; Google the seller's name.
