New bb 8310 user having trouble!!!

I've only had my bb for ab a week now and I just can't get the hang of a couple things.#1. I downloaded a theme and it wasn't in my themes list. 2.bb messenger?

1. Was the theme for your 8310 model? Themes are model dependent.
If it was, and you downloaded it to your BB direct, remove the battery while powered on, hold 30 seconds, replace, it will reboot. Check again at Options > Theme. There now?

2. BB Messenger? For direct chat like an IM between BlackBerry users only.

For the first issue, did you perform a hard reset after you installed the theme? Also, was the theme designed for your operating system version.

As for the BB Messenger question, what is going on with that?
