Hi guys,
Just got my Berry 8830 about a week ago. Looking for a lil help.
I started out with a working 8830 phone, but the 'P' button wasnt working correctly, it was very hard to press. So I had Sprint send me a new 8830 phone.
With the old one, I was able to go to www.blackberry.com/aim and download the AIM app and it ran just fine. With the new one, after I download it, it would give me the "visit www.blackberry.com/aim to activate blah blah". So I searched and found the solution for that.
After installing the WirelessVillage AIM service books, it now tries to connect to the servers...but just stays there and never actually connects. Eventually, it will say "Service Required Disconnect"
Anyone know why this is and how I can fix this? I find it odd that on my 1st Blackberry it worked fine...but as soon as I switch, it gets messed up. UGH!
