Please help, there MUST be an answer somewhere :) how can I back up an sms thread??

A great BB mystery... if you search this site for "sms thread" you find 5+ people who've asked this same question over the months, with zero responses....

But I refuse to believe there's NO way to email all of an sms thread or otherwise back it up off the device!

- I see you can forward or email *individual* sms messages;

- I see you can "save" sms on the device;

But I want to get a copy of the full sms thread OFF the device, either by emailing it to myself, or copying it to a text file, or anything. Thank you for any help!

Thank you ricpac: you pointed out my critical missing info in my post: my PC doesn't run Windows and therefore I don't run the BB desktop software.

So what I'm looking for is a way to back up an sms thread FROM the BB itself (using the BB, not extracting from a file my PC created).
