7290 LCD Replacement Instructions

I am looking for instructions for replacing the LCD screen on my 7290 but when I go to the link on this site or the blackberry site - the dissassembly instructions are basically nothing. It states to make sure you back everything up and use a torq x or whatever it's called. I bought a replacement screen and tried to replace my old one but it didn't work. I don't know if I have the wrong screen or I just did it wrong.

sorry but since i haven't replaced a LCD screen before i don't have any suggestion for you,hope someone goot at it could see that

This is quite easy to do:
Step 1: remove the six screws from the back
Step 2: to open the housing - carefully slide a thin wedge to front cover from the back cover that is secured (snapped together in two spots) on the top and bottom towards the centre.
Step 3: you will find one more screw in the top back and the screen will need to be unplugged.
